MYLATCH Privacy Policy

At Mylatch, we take your privacy very seriously. We have taken rigorous steps in ensuring that the information that you provide to us as a member of Mylatch.com, is kept secured using industry standard Security Protocols. We have also implemented necessary protocols to ensure that this information is not viewed, used or modified by anyone without your explicit consent. Our Privacy Policy is categorized into the following six main areas:

 

  • 1. Collection of Your Personal Information:
    • We collect the information that you provide during the Registration process, like your name, email address, your City, State, Country, Zip Code, your Education history, your Occupation details and your Password. Your password to the Mylatch site is encoded using MD5 protocol, which means that it cannot be decoded.Even our system administrators do not have access to your passwords. 
    • We collect information when you create your profile which includes your Employment history, your Education history, your Resume, your Picture and your video.
    • We use cookies to recognize you, remember your settings and customize your web pages to enhance your experience on the site.
    • Our website makes use of cookies which are small digital files that are stored in your web browser that enable us to track your return visits to our website, remember your settings and customize your web pages to enhance your experience on the site
    • Your browser settings may allow you to block these cookies, but we recommend you have them enabled to help us personalize your experi ence of our website.
    • We use a host of third party applications that are integrated into our site, like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter etc. These third party applications on our site may use cookies for tracking purposes. We neither ask you nor store your passwords to your LinkedIn, Facebook & Twitter accounts.
    • We also collect the domain name, of visitors to our Web page, the e-mail addresses of those who post messages to our bulletin board, the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, the e-mail addresses of those who make postings to our chat areas, aggre gate information on what pages consumers access or visit, user-specific information on what pages consumers access or visit, information vol unteered by the visitor, such as survey information.
    • We collect the Recommendation Scores and any comments provided by your Recommendation Providers when you Request their Recommen dations. In order to ensure that Recruiters/Viewers of your Recommendations can contact your Recommendation providers, we also collect the Names, Email Addresses, Employment details and Phone Number of your Recommendation provider.
  • 2. Use of Your Personal Information:
    • We use the information that you provide to us on our site to manage and administer your account with us. 
    • We use your email address to communicate with you about any updates to your account, like, when a Recommendation Provider completes the Recommendation or when an invited viewer looks at your profile. You must consent to this term of service to be a member of Mylatch.com.
    • We use scores from your each individual Recommendation scores to generate aggregate information for National Average scores, World Aver age Scores and Average Scores by Job Classification and Average Scores by Industry Type. At no time do we ever present individual or identifi able scores to anyone else, members and visitors alike.
    • We do not rent, sell or provide any of your personal information in any form to any third-party agencies for marketing services.
    • We provide you with a control panel (EDIT PROFILE) through which you can choose what information about your profile you would like to make public to the Mylatch community of users and the world-wide-web.
    • We also provide you with the ability to Approve or Decline a Request from anyone requesting to view your Recommendations other than what information you have made public or what information you have sent them via using the “Embed Link” feature on your resume.
    • All users should be aware that when you invite someone to view your Recommendation profile, you explicitly give them access to your com plete Mylatch profile including your public profile (personal information that you have made public), your recommendations, aggregate scores and Recommender’s details. You must consent to this term of service to be a member of Mylatch.com.
    • All users should be aware, that when they voluntarily display or distribute personal information (by inviting someone to view their Profile or by embedding a link in their Resume), that information can be collected and used by others. This may result in unsolicited messages from third parties for which Mylatch.com is not responsible. Also, you may have arrived at this Web site by following a link from other affiliate web sites, If so, please be aware that Mylatch.com may share your information with that affiliate and the affiliate may use the information consis tent with its privacy policy instead of this one.
    • Mylatch.com may also disclose specific user information when we determine that such disclosure is necessary to comply with the law, to coop erate with or seek assistance from law enforcement or to protect the interests or safety of Mylatch.com or other users of the Site. In addition, personal information we have collected may be passed on to a third party in the event of a transfer of ownership or assets or a bankruptcy of Mylatch.com.
    • From time to time, we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our informa tion practices change at some time in the future we will contact you before we use your data for these new purposes to notify you of the policy change and to provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses, we will post the policy changes to our Web site to notify you of these changes and provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses.     • You can create, review, edit and enhance your profile through the EDIT PROFILE link.

    • You can customize the messages that you send out to someone to Request a Recommendation.
    • You can share your webCV with anyone of your choice by sending them a link to your webCV
    • You can delete any Recommendation that you don't like
    • You can forward your Mock Video Interview to anone of your choice and get feedback on your interview.
    • You can ask us to close your account.
  • 4. Video Interviews
    • A Mock Video Interview is considered your property and you can delete the video at any time that you like.
    • A Virtual Video Interview is the property of the employer who had ordered it. You cannot view or delete a Virtual Video Interview.
  • 5. Security:
    • The personal information you provide will be secured with Industry Standard Security protocols.
