When & How?
The idea of Mylatch came to the founder, Pratik Roychoudhury, in 2007, during a brief stint as a Director of Operations in a staffing & recruiting company. He found the traditional recruiting process to be archaic, haphazard and ineffective. He also felt that there was no comprehensive, all encompassing online tool for job seekers that leveraged personal branding and social networks in a meaningful way. He knew there had to be a better talent matching platform. At that same time Pratik was also enrolled in the MBA program at The Wharton School, University of Pensylvania. His classes in Entrepreneurial Management, helped him to start formulating the early versions of the blue print of Mylatch. The company launched its beta site on Sept 8th, 2009.
Why Mylatch?
In the nation’s road to an economic recovery, the quest for and by top talent is more crucial than ever. The advent of social networking has unquestionably changed the recruiting world forever; however, the majority of employers do not have a comprehensive social networking recruitment strategy in place. Pratik is the Founder & CEO of Mylatch. Pratik has worked in Quality Engineering, Engineering Management and Strategic Planning roles at HINDALCO, MEDRAD, Inc. (a Bayer subsidiary) and Bayer Healthcare, Diabaetes Care with roles of increasing responsibilities rising up to executive positions. During his brief stint as a Director of Operations for a Staffing & Recruiting firm, he conceived the idea of Mylatch. Pratik is now responsible for Mylatch's Business Development, Technology, Sales, Marketing and HR functions. He holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Nagpur University and an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from the West Virginia University. He will be graduating from the MBA program at The Wharton School, University of Pensylvania in May 2010.

David R. Bushee

David has an extensive background in Sales, Sales Training, Executive Account Management, Business Development, and Strategic Advisory roles accumulated over the past 19 years across both military and corporate positions. With 8+ years in commercial real estate, he was named a “Power Broker” in both Industrial and Office space categories. His other significant leadership roles have included responsibilities in marketing, advertising, recruiting, training, and strategic operational reviews. He has served small, medium, and global clients such as GlaxoSmithKline, NCR, MeadWestvaco, and American Eagle. He graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a B.S. in Engineering Management. He also served 9 years on active duty as a commissioned officer and helicopter pilot in Army Aviation.

Kausik Sarkar

Kausik is the Co-Founder & CTO of Acumen Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd., a premier full-service Software Developmet firm in Kolkata, India. Kausik serves as the Acting CTO of Mylatch. Kausik founded Acumen Software Technologies with 3 other friends right after graduating from the Computer Science program. Since then under his leadership the development team grew from 2 members to about 65 members now. Kausik enjoys photography, travelling and staying abreast with the latest trends in technology. He is always trying out new things and pushing technology frontiers. He says that he is enamored with problem solving and views problems as true opportunities for improvement.

Andrew McCaskey

In 2004, Andy established one of the very first technology podcasts - Slashdotreview Podcast - and has filled the role of producer and host of SDRNews, a daily (M-F) business and technology program featuring audio and specialized event video content. In 2009 he established New Media Metrix, offering media production and distribution on technical topics for specialized conferences. In addition to technical knowledge and skills and large company experience, over his career Andy has founded two small engineering companies and has a business owner perspective. He is a Virginia Tech graduate, with advanced degrees in technology and business management from the University of Colorado and Purdue University.

Avijit is a Senior Project Manager with Acumen Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd. and is the Chief Architect for Mylatch. Avijit is a seasoned web developer and has moved through the ranks in various software development organizations and now manages several large scale application development teams. His attention to detail, project management skills and a flair for problem solving make him a tremendous contributor and team member. In his spare time he enjoys travelling, listening to music and working on his special software projects.

Julie Roehm

| Julie Roehm is currently the Owner & Principal of the Marketing Consulting firm called BACKSLASH META. Her clients include retail, exhibitions, show tities, advertising agencies, interactive technical companies, start-ups and others. She was most recently the Senior vice president of Marketing Communications for Wal-Mart Stores. Prior to this, she was the Global Director of Marketing Communications for Chrysler Group, responsible for all branded marketing for the Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge brands. Her responsibilities included media, creative, auto shows, sponsorships, merchandising and licensing, and dealer advertising. She holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA in Marketing from The University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business, where she was honored as a Distinguished Alumni in 2006. Leslie Ferry brings over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications, Internet and recruitment industries to the MyLatch Advisory Board. Her brand management and product marketing expertise have helped boost the profiles of numerous technology companies. Leslie currently is the Vice President of Marketing with BroadSoft. Prior to this position, Leslie was the Vice President of Marketing of online recruiting companies SnagAJob and JobFox. Before that Leslie was the Director of Marketing for Careerbuilder, where she helped to build one of the best-known Internet brands in the online recruitment industry. Before moving to companies with web-based products, she spent eight years at MCI, where she held revenue and branding responsibilities in the consumer markets division.

Dr. Nitesh Chawla

Dr. Nitesh Chawla is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Notre Dame. He directs the Data Inference Analysis and Learning Lab (DIAL) and co-directs the Interdisciplinary Center for Network Science and Applications (iCeNSA) at Notre Dame. His research is primarily focused on data mining, network science, and social media. His work has led to various successful applications and deployments in social networks, climate data sciences, medicine, security, fraud detection, targeted marketing, consumer behavior analytics, and text categorization. He is on the Editorial Board of IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man and Cybernetics, as well on program, and organizing committees of a number of conferences. Brian Hulecki has been in the talent management and acquisition space for 15 years, working both corporate and third party consulting. He is an Executive Recruiter with Career Transitions, LLC., assisting companies attract, hire and retain executive level talent. Brian has worked with Horwath International, NIBCO, Inc., and the Associates Bancorp, inc. – now CITI Financial during his corporate tenure. He earned an Associates and Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University, holds a certified personnel consultant certification and offers competency based interview technique training.
